Lisa H. Bishop, Vice President, Training and Clinical Development, works with the Chief Medical Officer and the administrative leadership team to plan, lead and evaluate the training and education programs for all team members, including annual and on-going support. She works with company leaders to ensure clinical development and education competencies meet or exceed industry best practices and assists members to ensure new partnerships, acquisitions, and/or mergers are implemented in a manner to meet accreditation standards. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Samford University in Birmingham, AL and her Master of Science in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women. She received her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Walden University where she was on the graduate faculty for 10 years. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner and prior to joining Premier in 2016, she was on the faculty of Fran University and has served as a primary care provider in North Mississippi and for the Veterans Administration. Dr. Bishop has over 25 years of clinical experience, including 13 years in Urgent Care. She is a member of the Urgent Care Association (UCA). She is a Fellow in the College of Urgent Care Medicine and serves on its Board of Directors.
