Baton Rouge, LA – (October 25, 2022) Premier Health is ranked No. 2 in the world on LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business’s 2022 “Top 100” list of fastest-growing, alumni-led companies. The announcement was made at the school’s annual LSU 100 Fall Gala this October.
LSU CEO and President Steve Sellars knew Premier Health was one of the fastest-growing urgent care
operators in the nation. Still, he had no idea the company would rank No. 2 in the world in a head-tohead comparison with other LSU-led companies. “I expected to be in the top 25. I was blown away when they announced Premier Health landed at the No. 2 position. I couldn’t be happier.”
Companies on the LSU 100 list are selected based on calculations of each company’s compound annual growth rate for the past three years as determined by the independent accounting firm Postlethwaite & Netterville.
Premier Health’s Chief Medical Officer and Founder, Kevin DiBenedetto, says, “This is a proud moment in our company’s 23-year history. It’s also a testament to the dedication of the front-line staff in our clinics and their commitment to providing excellent patient care every day. Without that, there wouldn’t be Premier Health.”
Along with its founding partner, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Premier Health opened its first “Lake AfterHours Urgent Care” clinic in Baton Rouge. The company has since become one of the fastest-growing urgent care companies in the nation. Premier will soon operate nearly 100 urgent care clinics in 13 states through new and existing partnerships. Premier Health is one of the first healthcare companies to specialize in urgent care joint ventures.
