Dr. Hector Cabrera joined Premier Health in 2019, after having served in the Urgent Care field as an owner/operator since 2004. Dr. Cabrera earned his medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine. He has a Masters degree in Public Health & Tropical Medicine.  He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of New Mexico, and served his NHSC scholarship obligation in a FQHC clinic on the west side of Cleveland Ohio.  He speaks fluent Spanish, and has helped provided health education to Spanish-speakers through programs such as “Preguntale al Doctor” (Ask the Doctor), and the “Sazon Program” for diabetic patients.  He has consistently volunteered for medical missions in Latin America, including a VIM mission to Reynosa Mexico for whom he serves as team leader.
