Beginning Monday, October 16, LCMC Health Urgent Care will start seeing patients at its new urgent care clinic in Chalmette. LCMC Health is committed to meeting a wide range of healthcare needs for every community we serve, including urgent care. The new LCMC Health Urgent Care will be conveniently located at 8100 W. Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette, right across from the Walmart Supercenter. LCMC Health Urgent Care treats patients three months of age and older for a variety of minor illnesses and injuries, including:
- Ear and eye infection
- Fever
- Cold and Flu
- Minor cuts that may need stitches
- Broken bones or simple fractures
- Minor skin infections
- Severe sore throat
- Sprains and strains
- Vomiting and diarrhea
- Allergies
Other services offered at LCMC Health Urgent Care include rapid COVID-19 testing and occupational health services for workplace injuries, DOT/Non-DOT physicals, blood analysis, return-to-work exams, and drug testing.
Walk-ins are always welcome at LCMC Health Urgent Care on Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Patients are encouraged to check in ahead of time by visiting LCMCHealthUrgentCare.com and clicking the “Check-In Now” button.
