Seasoned Healthcare Executive Assumes Premier Health CFO Position

Lisa Martin comes to Premier Health with a wealth of executive-level financial leadership experience, having worked with some of the leading health systems in the nation. In addition to Steward Healthcare of Boston, where she was the Regional Chief Financial Officer of 12 hospitals throughout Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Ohio, Martin served as the Market CFO for Northwest Health in Northwest, Arkansas, and the CFO at several hospitals for Tenet Health Care in Atlanta. Aside from traditional CFO responsibilities, Martin is experienced in healthcare mergers and acquisitions, academic medical
centers, joint ventures, and managing physician practices and clinics.

Martin is no stranger to Louisiana. She spent time as CFO at University Medical Center and has held CFO positions at several HCA-owned hospitals in the New Orleans area.

Martin’s tenure at Premier begins amid its latest growth phase, solidifying its position as a leader in the joint-venture urgent care space. Premier Health recently added joint-venture clinics in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, and Connecticut with plans for future health system partnerships nationwide. Lisa Napier Martin received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University. She also studied at Berea College, Purdue, and Ball State Universities. She’s been a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association since 1989.
